I think about dog.

Dogged Drawing

A frantic pencil scribble of a round, grinning creature with pointed ears, whiskers and stubby legs, signed Dogged Drawing

Beak grips a pencil; I spin in circles and every mark becomes a dog.

First Circles

A pigeon found one pencil, then every line became the same dog.

Process

The beak leads. A spiral appears, then ears, a snout, a wag of intention. Attempts at anything else collapse into canine form. Pages arrive crowded, confident, and wholly devoted to dog.
